group project stuffs

hey guys,
tell me what you think like if this too salon or too lame to bring to our "environment", but i was going to make a painting that sort of illustrates the main issue that i was interested in, which was the interconnection of wild nature and "man-made" industry. I found this image of these ducks that are like "rafting" down a river on a big tire. so i was going to paint that and hang the painting up on one of the walls, or we could even prop it up on the ground. i was also thinking of bringing domestic outdoors stuff--potted plants, maybe some plant stands, strings of lights, windchimes. i thought it would be interesting to use these goods that we buy and consume so that we can comfortably interact with nature. do people think this sounds like it will work with what they need to do? anyone have any suggestions for me?

I think your idea works for me. The intersection of man-made and natural through appropriation and "taming" seems to be captured well by your ideas for the piece as I picture them. I'm not sure on whether it would work better hung or leaned against the wall. That should be something we can figure out once you have it in the space and can see its interaction with the other pieces.
