teilhard

Looking at the beginning sections in "The Stuff f the Universe," we noted the significance of the linguistic designations as an over-arching metaphor for spirituality, God, and systematic order. These metaphors were created through Teihard's development of a scientific model based around terms that are expanded from a traditional scientific model, one which could be described as a closed-system, such as the atom used to be percieved. Teihard's choice of language rather designates physical, though often invisible or phenomenal, connections between microcosm and macrocosm to demonstrate a systematic unity of entities both big and small, interior and exterior, spiritual and physical, scientific and poetic.
